Building on its strong presence on the smartwatch market, Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 5 family, consisting of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy Watch 5, on August 10, 2022 at the dedicated Galaxy Unpacked event.
The hot new wearables in Samsung’s arsenal are more than excellent sidekicks for any recent Galaxy phone or tablet, and easily recommendable if you’re deeply invested into Samsung’s ecosystem.
The duo succeeds the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch 4 from 2021, respectively, by reiterating Samsung’s established wearable design, as well as increasing the battery capacity of both watches with the hopes of greatly increasing the battery backup.
