The OPPO Pad 5 has been spotted on Flipkart’s Reno 15 series landing page, shortly after its appearance on OPPO’s official India website, indicating that the tablet may launch in India alongside the upcoming Reno 15 smartphones.

Although Flipkart has not yet published a dedicated product page, the listing has revealed key specifications. The OPPO Pad 5 will be available in Black and Pink color options and will ship with a White stylus. It features a 12.1-inch eye-comfort display with 2.8K resolution, AI-powered note-taking features, and a 10,050mAh battery. Previous listings also confirmed that the Wi-Fi–only variant will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Here’s where things get a bit confusing. The OPPO Pad 5 launching in India isn’t the same tablet that debuted in China with the same name. Instead, OPPO is bringing the OPPO Pad Air 5 to India and rebranding it as the OPPO Pad 5. As a result, the Indian model will be positioned as a more affordable, budget-oriented tablet rather than the flagship version sold in China.
The rebranding doesn’t stop there. The OPPO Pad Air 5 is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go 2, which launched recently in other markets. In other words, buyers in India are effectively getting the OnePlus Pad Go 2, just with OPPO branding.
the OPPO Pad 5 for India should have a 12.1-inch LCD panel with up to 900 nits peak brightness, 2.8K resolution, and eye-comfort certifications. It will likely run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with a 10,050mAh battery and 33W wired fast charging support. Stylus support is also confirmed.
Since the tablet appears on both OPPO’s website and the Reno 15 landing page on Flipkart, it will probably launch alongside the Reno 15 series. OPPO should announce pricing and availability details soon.
